Project

This week wve spent a lot of time on designing the game, having enough cards to play with and making some guides for ourselves on how to guide the game. Last week in Amy's lesson we got a lot of useful feedback of our fellow students who played our game for a little while.
This helped us a lot. We saw somethings needed a little change before we could play it with the high school kids.
This week was for the final touches before we could finally try out our game.

Essay

I don't even know how much hours I've spent on my essay this week. During the week I've spent a lot of time reading the recommended sources Teana sent me. And I've been making adjustments in my essay my whole friday and saturday. In the end I wrote my first essay and my last essay and personally I think there was a huge difference between those two.
I'm still uncertain if my essay is 'good enough'. I found it really hard to write an acedemic essay in English. I leraned a lot for sure and the experience is something I'm really gratefull for. But because it was soo far from my confort zone I found it hard to found a moment on which I could say the essay was really done. After discuusing my essay at home. I just decided to hand it in before I started doubting it even more.

Personally I'm really happy with the result. I leraned so much that's something that no one can take away from me anymore. And with leraning so much I mean about myself, about where I stand in life as a white women and a social worker at the same time. And I'm looking forward to continue this journey where I can learn about myself, about the body that I'm in and the workfield I chose. Alle this facts about me combined.
