Muslim Cool

The Muslim Cool lecture really had me at the Barbie doll part. We go to a museum to learn things. But we still need to realise that what we’re seeing are also interpretation of one another. What doesn’t always reflect a culture in the right way. Maybe we can’t even reflect a culture in a visual way, maybe not even with words.

It made me realise how hard it is to make people understand (different) cultures. A culture includes so many people. So there’s a really big change you soon will be framing a culture from your own perspectives.
It also made me really see the change in culture and understand the discussion of the changing culture under youngsters.
