The first deadline for the essay is set on the 29th of October. I need to write this essay in a week. I've spent a lot of time thinking about the right subject and how I wanted to phrase it. When I look back I should have just started earlier instead of overthinking it for so long.

I decided this will be my research question: How is a study of the white female social worker in The Netherlands relevant for cultural diversity?

Some parts were easy when it came to finding sources. Other parts I struggled with a little longer.

While writing the essay I noticed I found it harder than I thought to find the correct English words. This because the essay needs to be an academic text. All the academic text I wrote till now were in Dutch. At this point, I still think of it as a challenge.

This week I've seen so much essay I couldn't even read it myself anymore. Luckily my mom loves to read my work for little typing mistakes.

After this week I handed in my essay. Doubting if it would be okay. I knew it was the first draft but I rather have it good the first time.
